We invited 5 different painters to a home we were buying and got estimates. Ricky Chu
from Rayco came and was very professional, friendly, and prompt. He gave us an extremely
competitive price which was the second best out of the five. The best-priced painter was
unlicensed, late, not very friendly, and uninsured. In contrast, Rayco is licensed, insured,
has a 2 year guarantee of quality, and very professional, so we went with them.
We were in escrow and our loan was still in limbo, so we had to delay the painting date a few times. Rayco was flexible and accommodated our changes. Todd Hamer and his crew came out and finished the entire interior and some exterior work in less than 2 days. We were very pleased with the finished work. Todd was exceptional in customer service, explaining the details of the job, the properties of paint, and other home-related issues that was not related to painting. He is extremely knowledgeable and he gave us answers to questions related to repairing the home as this is our first home. Todd was very patient and addressed all our concerns and he touched up minor spots in the home. If you want excellent value, customer service, quality, and flexibility, go with Rayco! They have made our first home-related work very pleasant. We will be using them for our entire exterior in the future.

Our Mom owns a small artistic custom home built in 1955 and located in an exclusive area
of executive homes. We recently had Rayco paint the outside, which had not been done in
many years. We wanted a really good quality paint job to fit into the neighborhood and
to show off the home's charm. The bid Rayco provided for the job was swift and thorough,
including pictures of the home and the areas needing special attention.
We chose the 5-year warrantee paint job with colors recommended by Rayco. They painted the home in four days, inspected the paint job thoroughly after it was completed, and "fixed" a few of the little areas needing a bit more attention. We are very happy with the results and the price. I accidentally made out the final check for a larger amount than what was due, and the gentleman representing Rayco quickly corrected me and had me write out a new check! So I would use the following adjectives for this company: honest, thorough, helpful, friendly, and very professional. We thank Rayco for painting our home!

Our family acquired a property in the Bay area as part of an estate transaction. The property desperately needed new paint inside and out along with quite a bit of patchwork on the interior doors and kitchen cabinets. I contacted Rayco Painting online before I departed for our trip to schedule an estimate. The team was timely for initial and follow up appointments. Ricky was able to quickly generate a thorough bid to meet our tight schedule to prepare the property for market. His crew was able to work us into their schedule(s) and were very accommodating in working simultaneously with movers emptying the house of belongings.
I am very particular and any items I pointed our were either dealt with promptly and completely, or on a short list from the project manager before I even had to tell them. In addition to the painting Mike was able to assist with items above and beyond the normal contract such as securing bids for additional work outside the scope of Rayco Painting, cleaning a fireplace, working with our realtor's schedule for work approvals and installing kitchen cabinet knobs. Mike also oversaw the installation of a sliding glass door at the property.
Having come to the Bay area from outstate, the most important part to our family was being able to leave the state with the peace of mind that the project would be done right, on time and well. Dealing with Rayco Painting was truly a pain free transaction, the team is trustworthy and I would recommend them to any homeowner. Thank you for painting my home, it looks great after the outside was done. Ricky Chu was on the job Checking the progress on a regular basis and helped us pick the right color. Moises the foreman did a great job prepping the house and doing all the detailed prep work. The house had a lot of cracks that you guys did a good job of patching. All in all the house turned out great and thank you for finishing in the 5 days that you promised.
