We take pride in our prep work. The key to a quality paint job is the prep work - 60% of every job is with the preparation.

Paint is designed to protect your home in all seasons. But without the right products and prep work, paint projects will fail before the expected lifespan. From our experience we have created a painting system that will guarantee that your home will last in both the winter and summer months. All of our exterior projects utilize the following steps.

Standard Prep Work

•	Full Power Wash of a home is designed to rid your home of all the dirt and debris. We will use a Eco-Friendly treatment to kill existing mildew and prevent future growth.
•	Scrape and Sand loose and failing paint on exterior surfaces as needed. It is very important to repair damaged areas and prepare it for the final coats of paint.
•	We will spot prime all bare wood and surface repairs to ensure maximum paint adhesion and longevity.
•	All rusted surfaces will be primed with Red Oxide primer to eliminate bleed through.
•	Stucco Patch and repair any damaged areas (non-structural) as needed.

Winter Protection

•	We trench all areas where painted surfaces meet the soil line to provide proper moisture protection all year.
•	Specially formulated 35 year warranty elastomeric sealants used on all cracks and seams to prevent moisture from penetrating.
•	Elastomeric Coatings recommended where necessary to provide added moisture protection. Elastomeric can stretch 300-600% to allow for expansion and contraction in cold/hot weather conditions.
•	Standard two coat application to ensure maximum paint coverage and maximum protection. All our paints are formulated with mildewcide to deter mildew growth during winter months.

Summer Protection

•	Specifically formulated primers used where applicable to ensure proper adhesion of final coats of paint during blistering heat days. Not all primers are the same. We will select the right primer for the corresponding surface.
•	We use paints with 100% all acrylic binders (resin) for superior color retention, extended weathering and long term durability.
•	Our paints have a UV sunblock pigment along with the highest levels of TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) for long lasting paint film and maximum substrate protection.
•	Because most homes are painted during the warm season, we will not apply paint on your home if the wall temperature is 90 degrees or higher. This ensures paint will adhere properly according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
